The Goodman® SSX16 3-Ton Air Conditioner uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A, which is chlorine-free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer. This unit features a high-efficiency Copeland® scroll compressor plus energy efficiencies and operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. The SSX16 is designed for the consumer who desires superior comfort, quiet operation, and environmentally friendly performance.

You can rest assured that your Goodman® brand air conditioner will provide you with quiet cooling all year long. To minimize operating sounds, Goodman® acoustically engineered their systems with enhancements that include a compressor sound reduction cover made of high-density foam and a specially designed wire discharge grille. Additionally, the two-speed operation of the condenser fan motor allows your outdoor fan to run more often at a lower speed.

Outstanding Warranty Protection

The compressor in your new SSX16 air conditioning system is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty. If the compressor ever fails under the warranty, a new one, will be provided to the original purchaser of the central air conditioning system as long as they live in the same single-family residence. All functional parts are covered by a 10-Year Parts Warranty.
